My students love going to their writing desk to practice skills needed to produce great writers. I thought about this and decided I needed to make an activity that was more specific.
Other times I give them an assignment to complete. Uses some of the same words from page 6 but concentrates on the word "said" and quotation marks. Instead of a blank paper with little to no direction, students are asked to complete various worksheets which I change every week.
I always include a variety of worksheets so that I can meet the various needs of my students and show how differentiated instruction is used in my class.
